Actually had the cruise control take off in acceleration mode one time on my Toy w/o me pushing the buttons or levers for it to do so. Being an operator in a large plant, mechanical or computer glitches don't terrify me (anymore, ggg) and I tinkered with the control till I got it switched off. Not being much of a cruise control person, I just never used that feature again and being the sole driver of that vehicle didn't think much more of it....
