Where do you see moral virtue from eating organic food?

None.

Then why bring it up in a discussion of "environmental virtue"?

It's simply better for you health wise.

I've seen no studies showing that.

How would you like to eat meat from over 100 animals in one burger?

There's no reason to think that would matter even if it were accurate.

When I was in grade school my mom would go to the butcher and she would pick out some meat from one animal that he would grind up just the way she wanted. One animal... no cross contamination possible.

Cross contamination? Beef from one animal "contaminates" beef from another animal if they touch? Where do you get that idea?

Before he ground it he would clean the equipment right in front of us.

So it was dirty till your Mom walked in or something?

If non-organic food is bad to eat, how about non-organic cotton or wool from sheep not fed organic food? That ought to be bad too. And of course, synthetic fibers would all be "Frankenfibers" and also bad. Ditto plastics.

I suggest you check out the documentary "Food Inc". It was nominated for an Oscar at this years Academy Awards.

LOL Thats funny.

Check out how food processors handle meat nowadays, especially the process of making hamburgers. You would throw up if you saw it. Your McDonald's hamburger patty has more than just meat in it.

Ah, that story about them grinding up worms is true?
