Actually, HQ cited the sub-$1000 PC problem. The market was so bullish yesterday that Intel should have risen about 5-6%, but finished up just 2%. But, the fear was compounded by Intel's comments this morning about the impact of SE-Asian economy. It thus opened lower and there after it was nervousness, IMO.

When did Intel announce that it would enter the sub-$1000 PC market with a scaled-down version of its P-II chip? I too find this as good news.
