You seem to be itching for a fight - no opponent too small ?
I believe the Light Brigade is bogged down in central Asia somewhere (again).
So you think the Queen will send 2/3 of her carrier fleet to the Fauklands ? I doubt it.
More likely China will demand the pretty ones as collateral for this year's interest payment. Would make HK look classy again.

It started with a few scrap hunters last time. This time start a couple of wild cats.

Again with 100 billion barrels there Argentina will get a lot of back up,

china stands ready to supply argentina with value-priced and effective system solutions jamestown.org

the first orders will be placed with the venezuelans, and
once service networks established for that needy continent, substantial sales effort can commence

the british and, for that matter, american carriers are no good against the asymmetric solution sets

the battle for taiwan could well be weapon-system-proxied in latin america, and once won, taiwan will not be conflicted over, because it would be game over

weapons for copper may well be a virtuous circle

and at some juncture, america will have to drop its two-faced spin and say out loud, "we wish to have the ability to attack anyone, and demand that no one must be able to defend self", and once explicitly said, game over for empire
