You seem to be itching for a fight - no opponent too small ? I believe the Light Brigade is bogged down in central Asia somewhere (again). So you think the Queen will send 2/3 of her carrier fleet to the Fauklands ? I doubt it. More likely China will demand the pretty ones as collateral for this year's interest payment. Would make HK look classy again. The UK is bankrupt, and you can't have an empire without money to pay for war. I was also amused by your reference to nukes and the big show. Did the UK really face strong threats from Russia. Why is that - didn't pay their gas bill ? Now that the North sea is drying up, what item of commerce can the Brits possiblly barter for oil ? How many Dr. Who DVDs does it take to pay for a litre of petrol ? wg PS- Even their music has gone sour.
