Great news. That one analyst who has always had a hold rating on Quantum, has changed to Moderate buy, so now Quantum has 7 strongs and 9 moderates!! I've been waiting forever for this.

Tech, I have often seen this thread quite just before a nice breakout. Look, most of us see QNTM as a long-term buy/hold. Realistically, I should be buying more. I held at $43 per share recently and am definitely holding at $35!

IMO, the price is held back by other drive maker problems and worries about continued strength in the PC market. Intel's worries over Asia don't help as well.

In recent months I have learned you cannot be an investor in disk drive stocks (APM for example). QNTM is excepted from this statement because of DLT and emerging drive leadership. I am excited by the price strength in this stock...remember when QNTM last was at 33, WDC was at $54!
