The only real underwriting being done is the minority that is forced to buy insurance independently.

Even so...how do we know that the insurance pool will only operate on the basis of "one size fits all" policies?

That's an odd response to a post on creeping socialism. In that context, the difference between a federal provider and an employer/insurance company provider is critical. As is the difference between an employee benefit and a citizen right.
