I think the bears, who are normally also value investors,
might want to do some shopping in real estate on this next
downturn following expiration of cash for shacks program.
Re is getting very cheap in some places, especially if
you grab one of 'em bank owned properties. That is
not to say houses won't get cheaper, but I think huge profits
can be made buying the housing Marianna trench, especially
ones banks want to sell to just cover loans.

Again, best time to purchase could be within a year or two when
Alt-A hits. That is just starting to happen this Spring.

It's gonna be very nasty. Coming next to USA? States are feeling
huge fiscal pain, some are much bigger than Greece, or
Canada -ng- I maintain my view that the pop of dot-com
bubble, which is now exactly 10 years old, was
the start of this secular bear, so we are not just starting
the journey of pain, we are half way through, with
a more pain to come Japan shows these things can last a very
long time.
