Every time a theory wants to graduate to science it borrows from an established branch.

Social systems happen between the ears of people. Neither physical nor science. There -between the ears of people- is where we make the connections.
It is intuitive. When you read Joseph Conrad or Eric Blair, we know they owuld not have worttent that if there was not fpor the British empire. Do that without creating a new branch named Colonial Literature. Post Colonial already exists. en.wikipedia.org Not sure Colonial does.
