That's one reason why Obama is going out there claiming that the current health care legislation will reduce costs and reduce the deficit. It's a bald-faced lie.

Tell it to the CBO...


Among other problems the CBO counts 10 years of revenue against 6 years of program spending. Why do they do that, because the bill starts the taxes years before the benefit payments, and the CBO's procedure's are to use 10 year windows.

With a bill like this the CBO estimate is pretty meaningless, its structured to game the CBO's calculating procedures. I'm sure the CBO realizes that, but they don't have the authority to change the procedures.

The CBO only scores the data the Dem. Congress/Admin feeds it...dipshit.
