You think not? If I started listing for you the technologies that were created as part of our space exploration program and then later commercialized for enormous US profits, I'd have to take the next few hours to go through that exercise.

Of course, I also am an eternal optimist. I read a LOT of science fiction, so I understand all too clearly the potential out there for untold wealth. :)
