Re: "lol, they WILL BE covered. You watch." All I can tell you is that they ARE NOT covered in this legislation. In fact it contains language that specifically EXCLUDES illegals. (Now... if someone changes the laws in America in the future, well, I can't know the future.) Re: "As as far as Medicare Advantage goes are you telling me that Medicare paid these plans 500B per year" No. That's roughly what has been wasted in taxpayer-paid direct subsidies to the insurance industry in the not-quite-a-decade since the Bush folks passed this corporate welfare, and what we are slated to pay-out again over the next decade. Re: "and nobody got treated for anything?" No. The insurance plans are real. They are like 'riders' that co-exist with government Medicare coverage and pay things that Medicare doesn't cover... but FOR EVERY $1.30 the taxpayers GIVE to the insurance companies for these Medicare Advantage plans, the for-profit insurance companies only provide $1.00 worth of coverage. The rest is profit to them. So the taxpayers are paying a direct SUBSIDY to the insurance companies.
