Gore was a terrible speaker who put people to sleep. I heard him speak in Madison wisconsin. Everyone who proceeded him was way better than him- the guy who played in the west wing, melissa etheridge, his wife, his daughter. I think if Gore had spoken for 5 minutes and shut up, he might be have won. Taking credit for the internet didnt help him either.

if clinton had kept his zipper up and not lied about his zipper being down, gore would have won, too.

my contention is that it wouldn't have mattered - the president doesn't run the show. if he tries, he gets kennedyed.

the "machine" wanted war and the "machine" was going to get war.
