"Now, all I need to do is convince you that, unbeknownst to both Hirsch and me when the report came out in '05, the peak was in '05. Means we shudda started in '95; just about when the Contract on America came out.'

It all comes down to which set of statistics holds sway. In any event owning some oil and gold should help and individual get through the tough times a coming if you are right---I just hope it isn't so though because it means we've failed to plan.

Hurry up and burn the dirty ole stuff up so we can get back to fighting over the fresh water supply ... Peaked long ago and getting worse by the day with increasing populations grabbing more resources, increased toxicity of available supplies, and no hint of new technology that could modify rainfall patterns.
