The Yanks provoked the PH attack in order to appease the British who wanted the Americans to enter the war in Europe. The citizens of the US did not want to go into that war so the government needed something that would rally the people behind going to war. Operation North Woods is proof that the US government would arrange attacks on its own people if it served their purpose and most Americans believe that 9/11 was a similar ploy orchestrated by the US government so they can steal Iraqi oil and try to prevent Russia from becoming the biggest energy supplier on earth. They failed. Russia is now the most powerful country on earth by merits of controlling the worlds energy
