OT I thought you guys might find the following thought provoking and interesting: This pertains to the Visteon's bankruptcy filing which I didnt really follow and the author's comments that banruptcy proposals are structured to provide the biggest benefit to management as opposed to any other specific class of security holders. In this particular case. management which prior to the bankruptcy held less than 1% of the equity will now end up with 10% of the equity in the new company, while existing shareholders get wiped out. distressed-debt-investing.com
