I have a few friends from the San Diego area who attended the Lindy dance at the Catalina Casino - they all know you. My ex-roommate from back in the 60s has danced with you. She's a flight attendant who travels all over the world and does exactly what you describe - find out where they're doing Lindy and that's where she goes.
