Yeah, I hear ya. Generalizations are fraught with holes.

I grew up in MI. I hadn't been back for several years but spent two months there after traveling around Asia for a couple years. You might be surprised how good the Midwest looks compared to a lot of the world. Many people there take great care of their (admittedly voluminous) sh*t. Houses look good. Yards look good. Farm fields are first rate.

I used to travel from CA to Grand Rapids, Milwaukee and Cincinnati for work. Many Mid-Westerners who still have things of import to do are rock solid and a pleasure to deal with.

whats worse...some clerk at a convience store not giving a damn about you or your representatives in washington

i can go to a different convience store...im stuck paying the cheating, tickle freaks in washington
