You do, but you don't, and I would remind you that Soviet
Constitution was actually quite democratic, it just was
violated by other "laws". There are similar ongoing processes
in the United States. Some happened under Clinton, some under
W., some under O.

US citizen have to fight for their freedoms, now
more than ever, in order for the country to remain free.
Freedom is not a birth right, it is a constant fight. IMHO.

Something Americans take for granted? Lulled into false
beliefs until a wake up call? It's time to wake up!

My personal sense is that the situation is improving somewhat
under Obama. The regimes do have "left" and "right". While
W. was "right", O. is "left". We have to constantly fight
to keep it around the center.
