The Dems already lost the propaganda war. No need to cry over spilled milk. Believe it or not, I've been in this situation before. I've had projects go south on me where everyone doubted we should move forward. In the end, I always told them the same thing. Let me finish it. We're almost there. If we quit now, we have nothing. If we finish after all this effort, then we'll see where the chips fall. After the projects get done, everyone celebrates and then the miracle comes. EVERYONE ALWAYS FORGETS THE BAD PARTS. I don't know why this happens, but it is a darned reliable aspect of human nature. All they will remember come November is that the Dems accomplished something. I agree completely. And its Obama who has had to step in and give them the courage to go forward.
