We have similarities to Greece, but we have not gone as far down that path yet. It's because we are TOO BIG TO FAIL... Our size means we have to go further down the path before we are in the same position that they are in, but it is no ultimate defense. If we go far enough, than we can go down, whatever the other countries opinions on the issue. We can get past mistakes smaller nations would not be able to get past, but we are not immune, just somewhat resistant, to such economic and fiscal follies.
