That's seems to be the way we do it. Make promises we can't keep then compromise the country to try and pay for it.

Boomers will get what they deserve for their action over the years. Where is the love and equality that they so worshiped? The country is much more polarized now, then when their parents’ generation was in charge, when the boomers generation got into high corporate and government places the destruction of the country as we knew it begun. Think Clinton and Bush. It should be collective responsibility after all boomers really liked collectives.
