Thean..I'm still inclined towards cash at the end of the day. This week has been great for day-trading..On Monday took the ride up & sold GW, then sold PDE today for a nice gain. Will watch CKH like a hawk, and try to limit losses should a major downturn hit the sector. CKH is also coming in with a very good beta, which might help steady the ride & it's still trading off the 52 week high.... Good luck to all

Thean, there are several TA predictions of general DOW down ending this week also. Here's one interesting forecasting site: pei-intl.com BTW, does anyone have(previous link perhaps) a breakdown of the water drillers with the following info: #of rigs by category(deepwater, jack-up, etc.) #of rigs under construction #of rigs contracted, length of contract

Thean, Regarding PDS, VectorVest put out a Sell rec. on it a couple of days ago, the only one for a major driller. They site poor numbers for timing, although they rate it highly overall. The current listing has 13 of "our stocks" in the top 25, including #1 TDW, #3KEG, #4 CDG, #7 RDC, #8 ESV, #9 MIND and #12 VRC. I suppose they'll lower ratings after any correction (g). Anyway, do you see any other technical weakness for PDS. Didn't seem obvious today. Thanks for your help, Jeff
