<Still, removables are popular at most other scientific and technical sites. At Lifespan Inc., a health-care conglomerate based in Providence, R.I., that includes Rhode Island Hospital, Microcomputer Specialist Ralph Jordan said Iomega Corp.'s Jaz and Zip drives are on every end user's wish list, with personal scanners not far behind.>

OT Re: Comp USA In reply to Darrel

Darrel,

The same malaise occurs here at the CompUsa near me. The salespeople would rather BS amongst themselves instead of helping customers. The shelves are always poorly stocked. The lines are always soooooooo slow. I don't know how they stay in business either.

Maybe it's because Tandy's Computer City is just as pitiful.

However, when you're buying retail, CompUsa sure does have better prices than smaller stores do. And, you can bring any hardware back after "renting" it for a few weeks (hee hee).

P.S. I have yet to see a Zip Plus at my CompUsa. For that matter, I have yet to see a Zip in stock!!!
