I was talking to a BC player after they lost to Duke by two points. He said, "we did pretty well playing 5 on 8, don't you think?"

I watch a lot of Duke games. They don't get any help from the refs. It's pretty obvious when you watch the team regularly. Coach K teaches his players how the college game is called better than most coaches. Players who don't get it, who refuse to learn, are absolute foul machines. Lance Thomas is a good example right now. He gets one ticky-tack call after another. That's not because refs hate him, it's because he refuses to acknowledge that refs call the game a certain way.
