HONG KONG (AP-Dow Jones)--Hong Kong Telecommunications Ltd. (HKT) said Wednesday its target is to have 300,000 households subscribe to its interactive multimedia services within three years of launching it.

Lo spoke to reporters shortly after the government gave its in-principle approval for Hongkong Telecom to launch its interactive multimedia services, which will allow users to bank, shop and watch movies using a fiber-optic line and a set - top box.
