70's is an excellent entry point. if you are long we will be laughing years down the road. i have concerns with the valuation of most equities at this time. global economic expansion will be slowing a will have implications for or economy and equities in ways that we can't fully understand and predict at this time. this is not an asia issue, it is more global.
with this in mind, and being fully aware that we can't time the market, i will be re-entering intel, cisco and texas instruments in the next 12-18 month period intermittently in small amounts by using ameritrade. with $8.00 trades, it can be used to dollar cost average, and i don't think the fees will be exorbitant.
needless to say, this may not provide for better returns than you will get by keeping your existing position. you own a great company. don't let the talking heads convince you otherwise. you will be greatly rewarded

Nicholas you have the right idea - hold while the rally lasts and bail at first let-down. I think it will have another blast after that, however, and everyone is invited to prepare a testimonial for that day, "How I held Cisco through thick and thin (well down to 78 anyway)" -g-.
Seriously though, 70 was a good entry price.

Did anybody buy at 85? raise their hand.
