"like public transportation." Yeah - like buses! BTW - as for Republicans and taxing gasoline. You are correct to an extent. The phrase "democrats are tax and spend and republicans are simply spend" seems appropriate. The only difference is that democrats don't wait for the taxes before spending and don't tax enough to finance the spending. Team Obama has given a whole new meaning to the claim of "fiscal responsibility". Can you imagine any politician with the stones to implement the fiscal discipline on this nation that is needed? Bob
