oh, i'm not saying that in some point in time, the conflict won't get the attention of the masses (crises induced) but for now, i think the obama admin feels 'safe' in departing from a pro-israel stance as he tries to appease and placate our enemies...

this of course, cannot last

A weak Admin, like Obama's, leads to crisis. Happened with JFK and Carter, among others. Iran believes they can bluff Obama in the gulf. His boys realize they have to DO something or they will lose any support in the country. But instead of making a strong countermove, they make a weak one that only makes things worse.
