That would be like the $2 billion jammed into Kansas City schools to have Olympic sized swimming pools, half of the new buildings closed and less than a 50% graduation rate??

It isn't a question of money. Its a question of zombie parents w/o the scrods to go demand quality from their children or teachers unions, and to have the disruptive riff-raff kicked out of school early so they can start leaning useful trades.

Money my a$$. Don't we spend something like $10K per student in public secondary schools? I would turn my ground floor into a school to take 10 students and have them reading by at least tenth grade level when they were 18, instead of the current fifth or sixth grade at that age.
