Don, you're right, you never think it will go up when you initiate a short.

You do have to have a gameplan for that contingency however. I've never exactly called the top of any of these stocks, but I can get close using a combination of EWave and Gann technique. If you've got a way to prevent any drawdown on a short, you could make good $$ teaching it. IMHO stops don't work the same way for shorts as longs.
