Please define for the thread "rapid warming". In other words, what constitutes "rapid warming" Kenneth?

I personally have not noticed "rapid warming" in the past 50 years...

Significant Warming from an evolving planet requires many hundreds or thousands of years. Rapid warming, such as we have experienced the past 50 years, is not explainable from as an evolving planet.

this statement is absolutely false. Historically the significant rapid warming and cooling has happened very rapidly. And all without the aid of humans. This is the problem with only examining 150 out of 4.5billion years. It is not a statistically significant sample on which to base a scientific conclusion.
