I was referring specifically to your non response to this post:

Which would you prefer deciding if grandma lives or dies? Do you want the government telling you to lose 50 pounds to qualify for a hip or knee replacement? Do you want a government panel regulating the maximum age at which various medical procedures can be performed?

Well, Peter, here's the "question" in your post. It's what I would call a rhetorical question...that is, one which is really meant to make a statement rather than elicit an answer. Anyway, I will try... of course I don't want someone other than family to determine if grandma lives or dies, or conditions placed on my ability to get health care or a panel etc...etc...the problem with your question is that there is nothing in the bill which advocates any of these things, which is what makes it rhetorical and theoretical at once.

If you disagree, then I am open to being corrected, but you'll have to come back with evidence and not just words. Deal?
