Does credit card debt only count balances that are carried for more than 30 days?

Or does it reflect balances that reflect purchases made between billing cycles and paid off at the end of the month?

IF the data is reflecting the latter, it could be dramatically skewing those results.

I know quite a few people, including myself, who use their credit cards for convenience, and then pay them off each month.
