I had a friend who wouldn't even fly over Germany. He would check the routes carefully to make sure the plane didn't come anywhere near Germany.

That seems a little extreme.

Discover Card doesn't like it that I paid off my balance with them. They have been sending me weekly e-mails telling me they've lowered my interest rate and it's time "to put Discover to work for you!" I think I'll pass.
