Your statement isn't a coherent resposne to mine. My statement really isn't about math, so "the math doesn't work" doesn't have a clear meaning. You might mean that the majority of people had not made false or unreasonable statements, but I submit that is a ridiculous idea. Probably almost everyone has at some point in their life. Saying "a strong majority" was probably too week of statement.

What is possible and even likely is that they are becoming a majority within the GOP.

People who have made false or misleading statements are, and always have been a majority, probably an overwhelming majority or even nearly every single member, of both parties.
