guns

Just remember two in the chest one in the head and there is no health care issue - a little range time would be helpful. Perhaps we can get a government program to pick up the cost of helping law abiding citizens improve their shooting skills. How about free public gun ranges - sweet.

Explain why obesity does not affect the system.

Consider the following two statements.

1 - The health care insurance system significantly affects obesity rates.

2 - Obesity rates significantly affect the health care insurance system.

Notice how they are different.

I'm saying the first statement is false.

You keep responding along the lines of "nonsense, the 2nd statement is true".

Do you see what that's an illogical response?

In fact it is an example of argument by non-sequitur which you accuse me of using.

Also even if I had been making argument 2, if I had been saying obesity does not affect the health care insurance system, your statement "Man, that's a non sequitur if I ever heard one" would still be silly, since while my statement would be wrong, it would not be a non sequitur, just a false statement.

"but the US system is generally the most responsive certainly more so than Canada's for many situations."

And this conclusion is based on Aunt Tillie stories or data??? I think I sent you a study that looked at that...

Its based on the WHO study (which I generally don't like much, but because of the methodology of its total scoring, not because of any obvious defect in the data), and also based on other examples of data, some of which have been presented on this thread or on
