Next step in LED lighting will be controlling power factor and harmonics. Some of the Europeans are already looking at this. LED lamps often have a higher color temperature than incandescents. Some studies have associate exposure to higher color with increased sexual activity in lower mammals. It is not known if this will affect teenagers, or if the effect will be measurable.
