Like in any profession a teacher may want to change to another district to get more money but as I said, that motivation is short lived.

My wife and daughter are teachers....my daughter quit her first teaching job because of the stress and frustration. She then worked for a legal firm. She married and went back to teaching when her kids became old enough.

NYC pays more money than almost any place nearby.....do you think teachers are lining for those jobs???
