"You may find out you'll lose a lot of teachers....What kind of extra experience do they need to work in the world of commerce.

It depends on their particular teaching assignment and there is bound to be some sort of additional training even if it is just company orientation stuff, but just for starters: If they were a secondary math teacher, they should be able to fill more than one kind of technical role in commerce. If they are a Language Arts teacher, they should be able to fill a role in communications in commerce. If they are a Social Studies teacher they should be able to manage data bases or work in negotiating with customers, vendors, enterprise partners, etc.

Are you saying we would lose teachers because they will want to stay with the real world jobs or because they would object to the requirement to have real world experience?
