Thanks for the picture. I'm not "graveyard folk" but my wife is. We do a lot of stopping to check out the graveyards. And disgruntled husband sits in car.

I've got some pictures somewhere of my hometown graveyard from a variety of different angles. If I can find them, I'll pass one or two along.

I'm not grave yard folk, I always thought funerals and such were a complete waste of human endeavor, trafficked by pompous fakers. I never understood the value in any of it until I went one day a decade or so ago with my Mother, in her 80s, to place some flowers at her small home town in Illinois farming country. She danced over so many and told me more tales of the hearth that day than she had done in my lifetime. It was a deeply moving experience for me, not comparable to others I'd had with her before. I got how she could be such a person, maybe like you, even though it didn't take with me.
