Stewart exposes the comedy in the fraud -- great -- but fraud is not why the US economy is doomed. It is why the US will hand out gigantic sums of money to crooks while the economy goes down the drain. What we need to focus on is why the hell the US economy is going down the drain in the first place -- but don't let me distract you from entertaining yourself while Rome burns.

OMFG that was hilarious! Just what I needed!

"right before the end of the quarter when Lehman had to report their balance sheets, they would trade the uh uh ... - the "crap" assets for $50B in cash. And then, post report, ... they would return the $50B and resume ownership of their $hitpile.

Let that sink in for a little bit.

Now if you or I pulled something like that we'd be -

uh, what's the place they put criminals?

Oh - in JAIL! WE'D BE IN JAIL!!!"

OMG - way too funny. He's a classic. If only we can ultimately nail these bastards.
