Suma, I think you have been taken in by a hoax. I've heard that last story, about someone wanting to go to Rhino, New York, before. In the version I heard, the guy called it Hippopotamus, but the punchline was the same.

I don't doubt that people have said these exact things to travel agents, but I sincerely doubt that the Senators and Representatives mentioned in the article did. One clue is that every one of them who is mentioned is a Democrat, except for Bernie Sanders, the only Socialist in Congress.

By the way, an "airport ticket agent" wouldn't have these kinds of dealings with anyone, anyway. That would be a travel agent. And it would be a gross violation for a travel agent to write an article like this, naming names.

Funny stuff, but it's essentially slander.
