The Austrian economists and market commentators whose views are influenced by the austrian school warned for years that the debt fueled consumption bubble was unsustainable and the U.S. economy was being damaged by the distortions to the demand and output structure . To be specific the over expansion of retail, trade deficit, housing bubble and the associated job losses resulting from the end of unsustainable imbalances.
