I agree, it comes in by the barge full so don't know if the price went up. Historically, "large" busts have had little effect on prices. I think of it in terms of those mountains of salt municipalities stockpile in the summer.

Doesn't change the basic point of the higher the price the higher your insurance premiums. The drug suppliers and law enforcement benefit from prohibition. Everyone else pays and pays.
