Peter, I can't believe the Democrats are willing to stand behind this mess, even if it means taking an irreversible step toward the "promised land" of single-payer.

Everything wrong that happens in health care from now on will be blamed on the Democrats. They will never be able to escape ownership of the health care mess they helped to create.

They must love Obama that much to give him what he's been asking for since day one. A legacy that will live in infamy.
