MediaGX uses a Cyrix Cx5510 chip(set)...one chip in conjuction runs graphics and sound and is modem capable. At this point however, separate modems are used in GX systems. At 200 Mhz only dissipates 6 watts...and is much smaller than current notebook cofigs.

your URL to Electronic Buyers' News suggests?

Then, Gummy Bear says 2-3 FRAM license deals are on the horizon. Could these be
SGS-Thomson Microelectronics N.V., Siemens, and ??? All have come up in
various internet news reports, none have been announced by Ramtron.

Stay tuned.
