i've always found it very humourous, that when taking on risk in the USA, any resulting profits are considered "unearned income" let alone all of the benefits one does not qualify for when one earns, unearned income. and of course the limitations on losses, are beyond ludicrous, or the hoops through which one must bounce to make wash sales, not wash. never mind. i'm trying keep my drinking down to at least after the market closes. in 2010 the buy side of your trades will be reported i've heard. given the average accounting methods of most brokerage houses................... got nightmare?
