I downloaded and installed the most recent firmware update last night and performance has improved. Only time will tell how good this router is. I'm very hard on my routers. My wife is a Netfix movie lover and streams on average a movie a day. I stream lots of major league baseball games during the season. My comrade from graduate school, who now lives with us, in the basement, since his wife recently passed away, uses lots of bandwith. I've found that high priced routers are not worth it.
