The original point was whether this is constitutional, which it seems to be.

The bill may be unconstitutional for a very different reason. That is is medical insurance an interstate commerce. This may have been resolved when medicare came about, but it was not as extensive and with a more liberal court. 38 states have bills or actions to sue over this because they will no longer control insurance in their states, Idaho has already passed a bill. We will have to wait and see.

Has any resolution been reached on this question of 'constitutionality'? I've heard both sides now, but I've only seen it in opinion comments and editorial press.
