To the extent this is true -- if the play you describe is to short the dollar, the smartest money in town will be those who are borrowing all the US dollars they can find to buy something 'real'. Shorting sub-prime loans and those who held them worked int he last meltdown -- shorting a sub-prime currency is the right approach to take now.
